I am a land-locked marine scientist. For the past decade, I have managed data on endangered species of plants, animals, and (mostly) fish. Since 2007, I have worked for one of the largest international conservation non-profits based in the U.S.
I created this blog to post my thoughts on a variety of subjects focusing on:
- Environmentalism and the state of the global environment
- Veganism (especially its environmental aspects)
- Reviews of eco-friendly products and reducing my personal ecological footprint
- Raising awareness of environmental issues through Craft, Art and other visual means including maps and GIS
